The Jensen Family

Jensen Farms was started in 1911 by Jens and Marie Jensen.  The second generation, Alfred and Lorna began in 1945 after Alfred returned from the war.  John and Jane began generation #3 in 1970, and also started the seed company in 1979.  Now, Brian and Betsy are the fourth generation on the farm, and raise wheat, barley, soybeans, sugarbeets, navy beans and corn.  

Maybe his coffee cup should read "World's Greatest Boss"

John is living the high life as the boss at Jensen Farms.  We have yet to come up with a more appropriate title for him, but his business card would probably read "President in Charge of Truck Dumping, Seed Plant Construction and Go-phering."  It is rare to get a picture of him, but we have managed to capture a few of him in action.
